I’m *wicked* excited to share with you that I have been chosen to be on the Lawnscaping’s Design Team!! I love the adorableness of the Lawn Fawn sets, and the quality of their clear stamps is top notch!! I was excited enough to be teaching with them, but now to add on top of that to be playing along with the super talented lawnscaping team is AWESOME! I hope I will inspire you to play along with their challenges as well. Check out the announcement post over on the blog, and be sure to welcome the other “new girls” too! We don’t “officially” start until July, but I thought I would share a couple Lawn Fawn cards with you anyways-
and this next card I switched up a bit for the shoebox card swap I participated in at Ink About It a few weekends ago
Note: The copics linked below are for Sketch style, I use the Original Style in my studio, but wanted to link the colors used
I was intrigued to play a long with Moxie Fab’s Gingham Challenge, so I decided to also make it into a birthday card that I need for a very stinky special friend! I am head over heels in LOVE with Lawn Fawn clear sets, and am excited to have found a whimsical stamp company where I’m able to build cute little scenes with again! A lot of paper piecing on this card with Memory Box’s 8.5 x 11 gingham papers – so fun! There is still time to play along with the challenge, you have until June 4th to upload a card- I would love to see what you come up with!
I also realize this card fits into the latest Lawnscaping Challenge, to use pattern paper- so I’m playing a long with this as well!

Another card inspired by the challenges over on the Hero Arts Blog. Super simple, but I LOVE how it turned out! Are you going to play a long? It’s wicked fun!
PapersUsed: Assorted Memory Box pattern papers
I have had good intentions of trying out some of Hero Art’s Challenges for awhile now, but it just hasn’t happened.. this month though i have done a few cards!!
Here is the first one I designed for the Sunshine and Showers challenge
On this card I used
Memory Box cards and pattern papers
Hero Arts/ Studio Calico Set – Hooray
Hooray Hello! I had fun using some new Hero Arts/ Studio Calico stamps on this card. I was challenged to use the pink Bo Bunny patterned paper, and the green/blue washi tape. I took me a few tries in figuring out colors that would coordinate with them, since I was having a hard time seeing them together in the first place. I love this new grid pattern background stamp from Hero Arts/Studio Calico, and stamped on a “eggshell” colored Memory Box notecard with Pool shadow ink , it looks a lot like the vintage graph paper you can find. I also tossed on some Hero Arts Art Flowers and Mixed Accents. I used my quickie glue pen and ultrafine crystal glitter to bling up the butterflies. I was happy with how it turned out, and I know the friend I sent it to enjoyed it as well.
I finished my designs for my next card class this weekend. I am really pleased with how they came out. Check out my classes page for details of when and where you can take this fun class!
I’m back again with another tuesday trigger from moxie fab! This one is a two-weeker so there is plenty of time to play along, and I hope that you do!
Here is the inspiration this time
